1. Sort first
Pull out the cards that are worth something: secret rares, alternate arts, leaders, promos, graded slabs and sealed product. Commons and uncommons are usually only worth it in big quantities. If you are unsure, list it anyway: we check every card.
2. Good photos
- Front and back of each valuable card, straight from above.
- Daylight or a bright lamp from the side, no flash (it hides scratches).
- A dark, plain background, the card fills most of the picture.
- For damage, an extra close-up of the corner or the scratch.
3. Describe honestly
Name, card number (e.g. FB01-139) and the condition you see: near mint, lightly played or played (see card condition and grading). A rough value helps but isn't needed. An honest description means no surprises when the cards arrive.
4. Ship safely
- Singles in a sleeve and a toploader, several toploaders taped together lightly.
- Slabs wrapped in bubble wrap.
- Everything in a sturdy box or padded envelope that doesn't bend.
- Tracked shipping, insured for valuable cards, and send us the tracking number.
